One of the reasons I enjoy painting portraits so much is because of the challenge involved. Each one is a struggle for me, it never fails. But in the end, (usually after much frustration), it does feel rewarding because it wasn't easy. That being said, I'm not so sure I feel that reward with this particular one yet.
This is a portrait I started a while ago. I'm still not completely satisfied with it, but I think I've realized that i might never be. So until I decide to tackle it again here is where it's at...

WILD side.

This is a personal piece I just finished, I've had the idea for a while and finally got it out. It was something a little different for me and I had a lot of fun with it.

Happy New Year!

I haven't posted in a while but here are two more pieces for my fashion series...I am also working on a cd cover for Machine Gun Joe and a portrait commission that I will post soon. Also, some shows I have coming up in 2008 include the Chapterhouse (philly) in March, Toys at Gallery 1988 (LA) in April and Crazy for Cult at Gallery 1988 (LA) in August.
